The Republic of Equatorial Guinea and Abu Dhabi recently discussed the opportunity to form an association of investors from Abu Dhabi who could potentially visit and invest in Equatorial Guinea and the African continent.
Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, Equatorial Guinea’s President, hosted the bilateral meeting, which looked at several investment proposals in various sectors of Equatorial Guinea.
“Many countries have and have had oil, but have not taken advantage of their resources and today the UAE has shown otherwise,” said the Obiang.
The President also extended an invitation to the upcoming Africa-Arab World Summit, which will be hosted by Equatorial Guinea in November.
The ministers of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and Civil Aviation, Agapito Mba Mokuy and Fausto Abeso Fuma also attended the meeting, respectively.
