The Republic of Equatorial Guinea will host the Africa-Arab Economic Forum aimed at enhancing investment opportunities through financing and cross-border infrastructure development to open the IV Africa-Arab World Summit. The Forum will be held at the Sipopo Conference Center in Malabo on November 18.

The Forum will discuss the role of transportation and logistics in promoting Africa-Arab trade and investment. It will feature keynote speakers from the African Union, the Arab League, as well as Finance and Economy ministers from attending nations.

The Forum kicks off the IV Africa-Arab World Summit, which will be held 17-23 November. Heads of state, ministers, and non-governmental organizations from the Middle East and Africa will be in attendance at the Summit.

President Obiang will welcome Africa and Arab World leaders once again to the city of Sipopo. The international conference center is an excellent facility to host international events of this size. Sipopo offers state-of-the-art buildings and private villas, entertainment, high-end hotels and cuisine. The African and Arab delegations will also be hosted at hotels and on board of a cruise liner that will be supporting accommodation for the four thousand participants expected to attend the Africa-Arab Economic Forum and the IV Africa-Arab World Summit.

Thousands of people have already visited the magnificent facilities around Sipopo for past African Union (AU) Summits, Africa-South America Summit to name a few. The AU Summit was the first event held in the newly developed area in 2011, which the country has developed as a center for tourism and international conferences.
