The President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, HE Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, inaugurated the third Golf Tournament Open 3e Actuaries in Mongomo City.
The Tournament hosts top players from around the world in an effort to showcase the sport of golf to Equatorial Guinean youth and promote Equatorial Guinea as a tourist hub for international visitors.
Equatorial Guinea is committed to bringing the European Challenge Tour to the golf course in Mongomo City, a tournament which plays in 21 different countries all over the world and competes for world ranking points.
The organizers of the tournament thanked the President and First Lady, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, for their attendance.
The competition will take place over the next four days and has a first-place prize of $24,000.
