The Republic of Equatorial Guinea strengthened relations with the Russian Federation by signing a visa extension agreement with the country for all diplomatic, official, and service passports.
The visa extension allows facilitated entry to both countries for citizens of Equatorial Guinea and Russia without traveling to Yaounde, Cameroon, where Russia has its Embassy.
Delegate Minister, Solomon Nfa Ndong, and the Russian Ambassador, Nikolai L. Ratsiborinskiy, signed the agreement.
Nfa Ndong highlighted the strength of bilateral relations between the two countries as excellent and durable, and noted Russia’s longstanding commitment to helping the formation of resources for Equatorial Guinea.
Ratsiborinskiy emphasized the importance of the agreement as it symbolizes the trust and good relations between Equatorial Guinea and Russia.
