The Republic of Equatorial Guinea strengthened relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is set to hold the first ever Equatorial Guinea-Saudi Arabia Economic Forum.
The President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, will meet with His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to discuss areas of mutual cooperation.
The Forum will focus on the identification of economic opportunities and strengthening of trade ties between the two countries, with particular emphasis on mining, hydrocarbons, agriculture, and fisheries.
The Forum will capitalize on the success of the IV Africa-Arab Summit, which Equatorial Guinea hosted in November 2016 at the world-class facilities in Sipopo.
The Forum will be held in Jeddah on 10 May.
