The President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, HE Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, met with His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in an historic establishment of diplomatic and economic ties between the two countries.

The President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, HE Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, met with His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in an historic establishment of diplomatic and economic ties between the two countries.The Minster of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Agapito Mba Mokuy, and his counterpart, Adel Al-Jubeir, also met and signed new cooperation agreements to expand trade and diplomatic ties, including a memorandum of understanding and mutual political and diplomatic consultations.
The high-level meetings and agreements laid the framework for expanding political and economic ties between Equatorial Guinea and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Equatorial Guinea is currently hosting the first Equatorial Guinea – Saudi Arabia Economic Forum in Jeddah.
