The Republic of Equatorial Guinea continues to be a hub for international companies and organizations with the opening of the new ExxonMobil headquarters in Malabo II. The headquarters will further strengthen relations between Equatorial Guinea and ExxonMobil, as the country continues to develop as anEquatorial Guinea was recently welcomed to the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), and is a sponsor of Africa Oil & Power 2017, an international energy exploration and production conference.
Equatorial Guinea has been host to many international companies and organizations, including the United Nations (UN) building in Malabo II, aimed at partnering with the government of Equatorial Guinea to continue raising the standard of living and develop humanitarian projects throughout the country and the region, amongst others.
