The Republic of Equatorial Guinea promoted effective dialogue between Africa and China for the Fight Against Poverty Forum, which was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The Forum focused on bilateral exchange between Africa and China, as well as the facilitation of Sino-African cooperation agreements.
High-level officials from Equatorial Guinea attended the forum, along with the Chinese Minister for Foreign Affairs, Wang Yi, and the President of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki Mohamat, along with experts and journalists from Africa and the People’s Republic of China.
Equatorial Guinea and those in attendance particularly emphasized the importance of strengthening education for the youth, the maintenance of peace and security, and the development of agriculture and healthcare services.
