The Republic of Equatorial Guinea promoted African energy this week with its attendance at the Indaba Africa Energy 2017 conference.
The conference promotes the advancement of projects and opportunities for energy industry production and fosters the continued economic growth of Africa.
It also explores reactivation measures and challenges to provide holistic solutions in the continent’s energy supply.
Equatorial Guinea’s diplomatic mission high delegation attended the conference, along with more than 700 representatives from different countries across Africa.
Equatorial Guinea has a strong energy industry, and recently developed new investment opportunities at the Africa Oil & Power (AOP) 2017 Conference, in addition to new partnerships with Cameroon.
Equatorial Guinea also recently joined the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and is Sub-Saharan Africa’s third-largest oil and gas producer.
The conference, being held in Midrand, South Africa, is hosted by the Republic of South Africa Department of Energy.
