The Republic of Equatorial Guinea has launched the National Malaria Control Program and donated one thousand two hundred mosquito nets to four schools in Malabo, among other supplies.
The Campaign, run by the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, is aimed at eliminating malaria in Equatorial Guinea and informing citizens of the negative effects of malaria.
The government trained teachers at schools in Malabo on malaria control and prevention, as well as the youth on the use of mosquito nets and recognition of malaria symptoms.
