The Republic of Equatorial Guinea Vice President Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue recently attended the Security and National Defense Conference in Rio de Janerio, Brazil, aimed at fighting against human trafficking, drug smuggling, and maritime piracy.
The Vice President declared Equatorial Guinea’s support in fighting against these crimes, and expressed willingness to work with other countries to end the pervasiveness of these offenses.
Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue is a major supporter of the country’s military and has recognized the importance of the positive development of youth and women, often those most negatively affected by these crimes.
The Equatorial Guinea delegation also met with international companies to discuss tools with which they could fight against the crimes.
