The Republic of Equatorial Guinea strengthened bilateral relations with People’s Republic of China on a recent visit by the Vice President of the Republic, HE Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, to the country.
Equatorial Guinea and China will bolster ties and areas of mutual cooperation by signing various agreements of understanding between the two countries.
The Vice President met with his Chinese counterpart, HE Li Yuan Chao, and discussed areas of mutual interest.
Equatorial Guinea and China have strong relations, including cooperation in the fight against poverty in Africa, language and cultural immersion exchanges, and significant investment and business partnerships.
The Vice President was received by high-level officials, including the Vice Minister for Foreign Relations, Zang Ming, and members of the Equatorial Guinea diplomatic corps, including Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea to China.
