The President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, HE Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, strengthened relations with Zimbabwe during a visit state visit with his counterpart, HE Emerson Mnangangwa.
The President discussed areas of bilateral interest, and highlighted the existing strong relations and mutual cooperation between the two countries.
The President organized a series of working meetings for other members of the delegation to discuss agreements in a broad range of sectors, which were led by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Simeón Oyono Esono.
Equatorial Guinea and Zimbabwe enjoy strong relations. The two countries currently serve on the Peace and Security Council of the African Union, among many other international organizations.
