The Republic of Equatorial Guinea, through its President of the Bioko Chamber of Commerce, continued its commitment to national investment and the creation of jobs with the opening of a new shopping center in the Timbale neighborhood.
The market, built in partnership with CABA and the Government, will include shopping and dining for the residents of the neighborhood.
The President of the Chamber of Commerce announced that the market is just the first of many such planned markets which will be built all over Equatorial Guinea, which will provide fairly priced goods for all Equatoguineans, boost economic output, and create more jobs.
Equatorial Guinea is committed to the creation of jobs in the agriculture and hydrocarbons sectors in line with sustainable development under the country’s Horizon 2020 program. In line with the Goals, Equatorial Guinea has made great strides over the years, including major reductions in the risk of maternal and infant mortality; free health service and drugs for youth and the elderly; the implementation of progressive gender equality policies; and electricity and sanitation for all citizens.
