The President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, HE Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, visited the Afro-American University of Central Africa in Djibloho and the Edification, Equipment, and Training Center of the Civil Protection National Corps, strengthening the education and civil service sectors.
The University, set to open in the coming months, will be a state-of-the-art education facility in Central Africa.
Equatorial Guinea also recently announced further investments in education with scholarships for the University.
Equatorial Guinea has a long history of promoting and investing in education, including the achievement of key milestones in literacy, improvement of education for all Equatoguineans by all international standards, as well as the recent recognition by the President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea of the UNESCO-Equatorial Guinea International Prizes for Research in Life Sciences.
