The President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, HE Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, extended scholarships to Equatoguinean students studying abroad in the Kingdom of Morocco.
The scholarships, under the framework of human resources training development program, were given in the cities of Rabat, Sale, Casablance, Meknes, and Mohamedia, among others.
Equatorial Guinea has a long history of promoting and investing in education, including the achievement of key milestones in literacy, improvement of education for all Equatoguineans by all international standards, as well as the recent recognition by the President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea of the UNESCO-Equatorial Guinea International Prizes for Research in Life Sciences.
Equatorial Guinea is set to open the Afro-American University of Oyala, which will include an information technology (IT) and communications technology training center, among other amenities.
