With the recent opening of the ACP Office for South-South and Triangular Cooperation in Malabo, the Equatorial Guinea Ambassador in Brussels, Carmelo Nvono-Ncá, had important diplomatic activities to notify his colleagues in the European capital for the functions and aims of this significant office.

On October 29, Nvono-Ncá met the new Spanish Ambassador, Beatriz Larrotcha Palma, to whom he stressed that Spain would particularly value this important achievement by the only Spanish-speaking country in Africa.

Furthermore, the Ambassador met François Roux, the Belgian Permanent representative in the European Union, to whom, in addition to reporting on the opening of the headquarters, he stressed the intentions of the Equatorial Guinea Embassy in Brussels to carry out a powerful visibility campaign for this achievement, both in Brussels and in the rest of Europe, beginning at the start of 2019.

Nvono-Ncá also notified ambassador Roux about the visit of the Equatoguinean delegation next week in Brussels, which will underline the progress that has been made in Equatorial Guinea’s plural political system.
