The Republic of Equatorial Guinea is committed to advancing and investing in the country’s rural sector through international partnerships, including with the People’s Republic of China Minister for Agriculture, further strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
Equatorial Guinea is set to guarantee the food supply and transform the country’s rural sector through a series of committed investments.
The Minister from China highlighted the importance of policies in regards to constantly advancing technology as well as the country’s experience with dealing with food security issues in Africa.
Agricultural experts from Equatorial Guinea were also invited to China to conduct research and study farming solutions.
Equatorial Guinea and China enjoy strong bilateral relations, particularly in regards to education and cultural exchange, as well as commercial investment. The two have mutual areas of cooperation including tourism, good governance, sustainable development, and trade.
The President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, HE Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, was recently invited to the upcoming China-Africa Forum, which will be held in September.
